I didn't pre-order it(I very rarely break my no pre-order rule last time was destory all humans 1 remake pre-order and that was just because of a old thought dead rp returning wanting it to get good enough sales to be revibed truly) but you seem to be missing the bigger picture here. Didn't even need to throw in the keys for the Desperados games or the Weird West soundtrack for free, as far as I'm concerned, especially not as an apology for something that as it looks was beyond GOG's control and is entirely on Devolver/WolfEye Studios. I've got it pre-ordered too and don't have any intentions of cancelling just because the release here on GOG has been delayed by a couple of weeks, for whatever reason. What's the benefit of knowing that it was delayed because the publisher or the developer got cold feet at the last minute, fearing that a DRM-free release would hurt sales in the first couple weeks (and despite the fact that cracked scene-releases hit the high waters at more or less the exact time of the official release) or if it was delayed for purely technical complications/reasons.Īll of that is nothing new or unprecedented and, as I was saying happens all the time with other titles as well.

Atleast if pre-orders are offered that is in pulling out on game releases even after having pre-orders done it will show Gog doesn't learn from examples elsewhere to made more firm contracts to prevent pulling out on game releases. which if devs/studio's start doing something sorta similar. Which had got dealt with after afew too many pulling that by apparently having new contract agreement terms made to handle that problem.
